Description

This apparatus makes it easy and simple to measure the melting point (250°C limit). The apparatus consists of an aluminum testing block with a slanted thermometer hole. Sprinkle material on the top of the block, insert the thermometer into the slanted 7mm hole, and heat the block from below using a Bunsen burner or other heat source to test. As soon as the material starts to melt, read the thermometer for the melting point. Support stand, support ring, Bunsen burner, and thermometer are required but not included. 50mm L x 63mm W
