Description

This item is comprised of a wheel with a center shaft, suspended at 2 ends by a chord and that can be wound manually to the top and released. The unwinding of the chord, as the wheel descends, changes potential energy to kinetic energy. Upon reaching the end, it reverses itself and as it winds back up again, changing kinetic energy back to potential energy. This is a continuous process; however, energy is lost due to friction that ultimately slows the wheel to a stop.
